Craig is Academic Director of the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training and Research, where oversees academic development, curriculum, assessment and professional standards. He is also a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

Craig's research focuses on the development and evaluation of psychological interventions for severe mental health problems, namely psychosis and bipolar disorder. His work has helped shape our understanding of the relationship between trauma and psychosis and informed the development of innovative psychological treatments. He has led and collaborated on major National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded clinical trials and published on trauma-informed approaches, cognitive behavioural therapy and mental imagery.
